Track of The Week: Jake Bugg ‘I Wrote the Book’

This week is the final taster from the upcoming (and one we are really look forward to) brand new Jake Bugg album A Modern-Day Distraction.

Six albums into his musical journey – the onetime streetwise urchin with suss from Notts is producing his best music to date. The uplifting and melodic “I wrote The Book” has a brilliant video to accompany (You will be gagging for a pint of the black stuff by the end) filmed in a glorious looking pub in the West of Ireland – slotted between his live schedule by Rachael Halaburda

Jake said of the video, “we filmed this in the West of Ireland at an amazing pub on a day off between shows. We invited the locals to join us for a few drinks and a sing along. It was a great time!

As well as the new album Jake Bugg heads towards the end of the year with a European tour culminating with a massive gig at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
